About Milan Parivar
We are the group of persons, being people of Paschim Odisha’s origin living in Delhi, has formed an informal team amongst ourself in September 2019 with the intention to work for our cultural, social and economic identity with betterment of and the improvement of residents of Delhi having Paschim Odisha’s origin and also providing various facilities to the Paschim Odisha’s origin Delhi residents. Milan Parivar has been informally working towards these objectives since then, including the improvement of life of persons of Paschim Odisha’s origin living in Delhi, facilities and security and other maintenance and development activities. Milan Parivar is a voluntary, non-political, non-sectarian and non-profit making Association having no boundaries and shall be formed to address and cater to need of team and to create and promote a sense of brotherhood, cooperation, mutual social harmony, love and affection among the members of the team and also amongst the general public. Milan Parivar believes in collaborating and adopting the concept of cohesive group helping each other to achieve a common goal. Milan Parivar do not believe in competition rather we believe to improve our activities every year. We call ourselves as Milan Parivar as we have cultivated the culture of a family, togetherness in our organization. Our aim is to develop the language of our region (Sambalpur/Paschim Odisha), taking our culture and festival to all around the globe and bringing awareness among people on the celebration of all cultural festival like Nuakhai. In the coming years is looking forward to celebrate all the festivals of our region and continue with its social activities not limited to supporting the poor, taking of plantation, taking of scribing activities and conducting blood donations camp.
Milan Parivar: Why The name of our organization:
The organization have been named as Milan Parivar as people of Western Odisha region greet each other as hug (Milan). Diversity in faiths, believers and political ideology is prevailing in the region yet everyone greets hug (Milan) and we are the families (Parivar). So, the name of the organization became “Milan Parivar”. The family has not only grown in numbers but also in foot-prints and also celebrates other cultural festival like Nuakhai.

THE OBEJCTS:
- To foster a spirit of mutual help and goodwill among people, in general and members of the Milan Parivar in particular, thereby, promoting communal harmony and national integration for the mutual benefit of all.
- To conduct Social, Cultural and religious programmes based of Paschim Odisha culture and traditions
- To promote and impart Paschim Odisha lifestyle both in a formal and non-formal manner
- To protect and safeguard social interests of the people and encourage friendly relations among the people.
- To promote equality, friendship and bonding, fraternity, unity, love and affection amongst the people.
- To try to amicably settle disputes of the members among themselves by developing mechanism agreeable to all.
- To celebrate the religious and cultural festivals of Paschim Odisha with national functions religious festivals of the country.
- To organize and/or sponsor, wither alone or in cooperation or partnership with others, meetings lectures, talks, discourses or all types with intent to improve the quality of life of the people and others.
- To organize, either alone or in co-operation, partnership or sponsorship with others periodically entertainment programmers for the benefit or the people.
- To promote the social, physical, mental, cultural and religious upliftment of members or others.
- To foster new educational institutes and hospital developments for the betterment and benefits for the members and others of the society.
- To undertake all such other lawful acts, deeds, or things as are necessary or incidental or conducive to the attainment or any or all of above objects including the general welfare of the members.
- The association shall, however, desist and refrain from taking part directly or indirectly in any political or anti-government activities or associating with foreigners or foreign institute/association. The association shall not bring any political or other outside influence to bear upon any authority in connection with the affairs thereof.
